David C. Sparks is a realtor with The Real Estate Company and the Owner/Principal Auctioneer of Sparks Auction Company. He is a 1990 graduate of Nicholas County High School and a 1994 graduate of Transylvania University where he obtained a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management. David’s real estate and auction businesses specialize in Residential, Farm, Recreational (Hunting & Lake properties), Commercial, Multi-Unit, Estates/Living Estates, Foreclosure/Pre-Foreclosure and On-Site Auctions of those properties. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Bluegrass Realtors, Catholic Action Center Homeless Ministry, and Nicholas County Fish and Game Club. David sits on the board of directors at Layer One Ind., Inc.  He is an appraiser for the Nicholas County Master Commission. David has served as Chairman of the Nicholas County PVA Review Commission and was on the Bluegrass Realtors Government Affairs Commission. He approaches his real estate and auctioneering businesses with a strong commitment of fiduciary duties to my clients and a primary focus as a public servant. Davide resides on Lake Carnico in Carlisle, Kentucky and in his spare time he is an avid fisherman who enjoys sporting events, cooking, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. His is old school and still believe that a hand shake and a person’s word carries a lot of weight.
